Hope for young peopleovercoming challenges, making positive life choices and fulfilling potential
Anna JefferyAnna has a creative background, something she maintains and enjoys to this day. After completing a degree in Theatre Design and Scenic Arts in London, she enjoyed a brief career before packing up her paint brushes in pursuit of a more altruistic path. She took on a variety of roles trying to make this a reality ,which included working as police staff and in a girls’ secondary school.
It was whilst working with particularly vulnerable young women in school that Anna developed her desire to see girls released from negative self-esteem and to discover their innate value, and so she is delighted to be able to help make this a reality through her role at Hope’s Place.
Anna lives in South Bristol with her husband and two young daughters. She owns too many books and can’t seem to stop buying them, but considers this to be her only vice. She also loves coffee and drawing all over her Bible with her exhaustive supply of fancy pens. Which actually, may well be her other vice!
Anna’s engaging style of group leadership ensured full participation by all the girls in the group. They benefitted greatly from the course
