Hope for young peopleovercoming challenges, making positive life choices and fulfilling potential
Kay has enjoyed a happy and fulfilling career in education, as both a teacher and headteacher, and loves to encourage children and young people to develop self-esteem and resilience and to realise their unique potential as individuals. She has extensive experience of facilitating groups and working with potentially vulnerable young people. She is delighted to be able to use this experience to enable young people through her role at Hope’s Place.
Kay has a degree in English, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and NPQH accreditation. She is presently completing part time studies at Bristol Baptist College and enjoying being a student again believing fervently that it’s never too late to learn new things!
She loves the opportunity to spend time with her family and to enjoy favourite hobbies including walking (with her two lively spaniels!), reading, gardening, crafts and cooking.
